Circus

The production stems from three creative residencies realised within the European project Puppet & Design. The famous, ironic, colourful Circus series from the Alessi catalogue designed by Marcel Wanders. Represents a perfect synthesis of the relationship between puppet imagery and the design world. By visually animating the pieces of the collection on a table and intervening in real time with projections, sound effects and light painting, the show will give life to a multimedia tale that, by enhancing the shapes and colours of the materials inspired by the magic of the circus scene, will transform plates and jars, salad bowls and nutcrackers into the protagonists of a very special circus.

The CTA of Gorizia has been promoting Figure Theatre since 1992 with great attention and sensitivity to new developments and trends in the sector. It has always addressed different generations: audiences of children, young people, families, adults and the elderly with initiatives and projects mainly aimed at educating an aware public open to a more innovative and plural offer.
Its activities include theatre productions, festivals and reviews (Alpe Adria Puppet Festival of Grado, Muggia, Gorizia, Nova Gorica, Winter Afternoons of Gorizia), special projects (Hidden Gorizia and the European project Puppet & Design)
