A frog, a squirrel, a badger and a bear help a bunny who has lost its home.
Thanks to their goodwill, enthusiasm, determination and kindness of heart, they manage to get him through this difficult time and together they build a new home.

In the meantime, a jealous fox is watching them, hiding in a bush: it too wants a new home and, thinking about how to get one, it plans a stratagem…

Rabbit’s House is the story of how one can find oneself in a difficult time, and of how important it is to help each other when the unexpected happens.

Founded in 1948, the Lutkovno Gledališče Ljubljana (LGL) is the leading puppet theatre in Slovenia, presenting performances for children, young people and adults. Also thanks to the creation of the Puppet Museum in Ljubljana Castle, the theatre has become the keeper of this centuries-old tradition. Every two years it holds the Lutke International Puppet Festival, showcasing the best foreign productions from around the world, and promotes new expressions of contemporary puppet theatre in Slovenia.
