LA NUVOLA/THE THUNDERCLOUD FLASHART

Allowing emotions flow through, even the “dark” ones, contemplating them with wonder. This is the aim of the Flash Art La Nuvola/The ThunderCloud, that talks about dark emotions and clear emotions: the thunderstorm, with its load of fear but also of wonder and adventure, is the energy necessary to the clear sky to shine with every colour.

The audience, through the clouds and the sky transformations, experiences a passage from dark to light, from black and white to colour, realigning, individually but also together with the others in the audience, their emotions. A big celebration of children and adults, with clouds becoming colourful and blooming, generating a rainbow of different tonalities. A simple game, but of great visual and emotional impact.

The event is linked to a workshop conceived by Claudio Milani specifically for our Festival, and it will allow children and adults to connect with their emotions through simple acts, words and objects. After this first poetic encounter, all children, girls, boys, and adults, are invited to set with words, signs and drawings a message to be shared with others on long strips of coloured paper. Little poems, simple strokes, chains of words and short messages.

A micro short story of music, sounds, lights and objects, strongly symbolic, defining a special place and time where adults and children come together as peers. Triggering emotions, and the child and adult imagery of the thunderstorm, the installation proposes a reflexion over fear and hope, in a poetic way. The cloud becomes a metaphor of the capability of people to allow emotions to flow through them, even the “dark” ones, contemplating them with wonder.
