Videomapping installation created by the workshop participants

The 34th Alpe Adria Puppet Festival is offering a free, three-day workshop to twelve young adults over the age of 18 who have preliminary video-making knowledge. The workshop will run during the Festival and will be led by Stella Ivšek and Urša Čuk from Ljubljana’s Beam Team, with music provided by Črt Trkman. It will culminate in the creation of a Flash Art installation, which will be screened in Piazza Vittoria on the evening of Saturday, October 4th.

This laboratory is dedicated to exploring the use of video mapping in site-specific artistic projects, with a specific focus on applying video in urban spaces. Through practical activities, participants will learn the fundamental principles and methods of video mapping while developing their own conceptual and visual approaches to projecting onto architectural and spatial elements.

The workshop will be guided by media artists Stella Ivšek and Urša Čuk. Both are members of the multidisciplinary collective Beam Team, which is well-known for its work in audiovisual installations, video mapping, and media practices.
