fasten your seat belts!
(LITUANIA)
Fasten Your Seat Belts! raises the issue of luxury space tourism, which promises to open up new horizons while at the same time exposes issue concerning social inequality and significant environmental consequences.
Having explored almost every corner of the earth, our gaze now turns to the universe: but is space travel really progress, or merely an escape from the issues we leave behind? How can we balance technological progress with the responsibility for a planet we have already exploited and pushed to the brink of
exhaustion?

Through six unique productions, the project examines transport’s dual role as a driver of globalisation and a source of environmental harm.

The Klaipėdos Lėlių Teatras is one of the youngest emerging puppet theaters in Lithuania, constantly seeking new means of theatrical expression through the language of puppet theater. It is a contemporary, refined, and representative theater, appealing to both children and adults.
The mission of the Klaipėdos Lėlių Teatras is to present conventional and unconventional puppet theater art to children and young people in Klaipėda and the surrounding region; to educate them intellectually and culturally; and to shape their value system.
