CHATUNGLA

The Teatro Silfo (Murcia - Spain), brings on stage a jungle of “metal junk” that will lead the audience to discover many original creatures, each with its own story and ways, all of them made of objects and random materials lost or found who knows where.

Objects, with their stories and expressive potential, are central to the artistic research of the Company founded by Fabrizio Azara and Sara Sáez. The two artists experiment very diverse  techniques to create a theatre based mostly on visual language, without words, capable of engaging both children and adults.

In Chatungla all the imaginary “little animals” are there, ready to prove how even the most ordinary  and common thing like a piece of junk, or any abandoned object, can become extraordinary and become the main character of the play, giving children (but also adults) an engagement and learning experience.

This play, in each gesture of the two performers, indicates with great refinement the entrance door  from the ordinary to the extraordinary, offering us the keys to enter the wonders of daily life.
