A fantastical, fluctuating ocean of luminescent fish suspended above our heads will transform Calle Tognon for a few hours into a fantasy underwater world capable of inspiring amazement in young and old alike.
A dreamlike moment, that will spark the imagination by bringing together seemingly distant worlds, combining the tradition of Japanese lanterns with Grado’s natural vocation for fishing. And the magic will begin from using simple materials such as tissue paper, glue and strings of tiny lights.
Flash Art will mark the final event of the Alpe Adria Puppet Festival in Grado, concluding the workshop held by Emanuele Bertossi, a Friulian illustrator active in the field of children’s publishing, and an artist who specialises in creating works in clay, wood and iron inspired by his illustrations.
