ABOUT US

Since 1992, the CTA has championed Puppet Theatre, demonstrating a keen and sensitive eye for innovation and emerging trends in the field. Its unwavering and passionate goal is to move beyond traditional frameworks, embrace contemporary artistic languages, and explore new connections with other artistic disciplines.

The organization has consistently championed cultural promotion outside of mainstream circuits, and is deeply committed to the educational and formative mission of live performance. This approach provides a significant opportunity to foster integration and inclusivity, address social hardship, and simultaneously offer critical tools that stimulate awareness and the ability to interpret the present.
Through its activities, it has become firmly rooted in the city and province of Gorizia. For three decades, its work with schools—including workshops, school-based performances, and matinée shows at the theatre—has cultivated new generations of audiences who enthusiastically follow its festivals and numerous events.

The organization has always targeted different generations, including children, young people, families, adults, and seniors. Its initiatives and projects are primarily aimed at cultivating a discerning audience open to a more innovative and diverse range of offerings.

The CTA has also consistently demonstrated a strong awareness of environmental issues. In every event, it places particular emphasis on its local footprint, helping to foster a more mindful and informed ecological consciousness.

As a result of its thirty years of activity, the CTA is officially recognized by the Ministry of Culture and is a founding member of several industry associations:
